How to get a US phone number for SMS verification

• The app or website only accepts US phone numbers.
• You live or travel outside the US and your own number can’t receive US texts.
• You’d rather not give your personal number to every service you try.
• You’re testing sign-up in your own app (see testing SMS verification).

1. Create a free account with your email.
2. Add funds with crypto (through NOWPayments). The minimum deposit is $10.00, and your balance updates once the payment confirms.
3. Search for the app you’re signing up for. You see the price before you pay, starting from $0.70.
4. Tap Get number, then enter the number in the app with United States (+1) as the country.
5. The code appears on the page within seconds, and in Telegram if you’ve linked it.
6. No code within 5 minutes? The full price goes back to your balance automatically.

• One-time number: for a single sign-up code. It’s the cheapest option and is refunded if no code arrives.
• Rental: keep the same number for 1, 7 or 30 days and receive every text it gets. Useful when an app asks for a code again at login, or when you need several codes over a few days.

A one-time number is only yours for that verification, so it can’t receive future codes such as password resets. Once you’re signed in, add a recovery method you control: your own phone number, an email address or an authenticator app.
